Covered Bridge, Connecticut

In the late afternoon sun, the signs of autumn show on this riverside.Through the wavelike form of the branches, we can see a covered bridge, typical of this area. In the icy winter, they reduce the chance of snow and ice in the bridges.

PHOTO TIP: Use a small aperture for depth of field, then brace yourself for the slower shutter speed. Most critical exposure is around the yellow and green leaves. I took several different exposures and selected the best one.
